Aerial work platform, or elevating work platform, is a movable aerial device used for temporary access purposes, such as installation, maintenance and construction work.

Aerial work platforms are mainly divided into six types, including scissor lift, vehicle carrying lift, articulating boom lift, self-propelled aerial work platform, aluminum work platform and cylindrical aerial work platform. These distinct types of platforms all have specific features which make them more or less desirable for different applications.

Scissor Lift
Scissor lift is a type of platform that moves vertically. It provides high reliability, wide work platform, increased carrying capacity, enhanced working performance and safety. In addition, it is suitable for simultaneous operations by several persons. Therefore, the scissor lift is widely used.

Vehicle Carrying Lift
This aerial work platform is remodeled from lifter and vehicle. It is equipped with vehicle engine for power tool to realize lifting motion of the platform. Delivering wide operating range and long operating time, this type of aerial work platform is ideal for field maintenance and street lamp maintenance etc.

Articulating Boom Lift
According to the spreading mode of boom, boom lift can be divided into telescopic type and articulating type. Articulating boom lift, with good safety and convenient movement, is used at working sites that require high lifting height, such as dockyard.

Self-propelled Aerial Work Platform
This platform has self-walking and steering driving functions. One operator is enough to make it complete many motions in the air continuously, such as upward and downward motion, forward and backward motion, as well as steering. It is especially suitable for operations in departure hall, station, dock, shopping mall, stadium, workshop and so on.

Aluminum Work Platform
This type of platform is made of high-grade aluminum alloy. It features small size, light weight, good stability and high safety. Consequently, it is widely used in factory, hotel, restaurant, railway station, airport, theater and exhibition hall etc.

Cylindrical Aerial Work Platform
